Perfect Pitch: 2025 Live Final

Launched globally in 2024, Perfect Pitch gives students the opportunity to develop and present innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

Originally developed as a regional initiative in North America, the program rapidly evolved into a global flagship event spanning OneSchool Global’s international network.

The 2025 live final brought together more than 5,000 viewers across 120 campuses, 20 countries and 10 time zones.

Delivering the event at this scale introduced significant technical and operational complexity.

Participants, judges and audiences were distributed across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America, requiring the production to function as a single synchronised experience despite geographic separation and varying connection environments.

At the same time, the event needed to operate entirely within OneSchool Global’s internal Zoom infrastructure due to cybersecurity, privacy and safeguarding requirements associated with working with school-aged students.

CTS therefore needed to deliver a broadcast-quality production within a tightly controlled platform environment, while seamlessly integrating live student presentations, judge commentary, pre-recorded content and real-time audience engagement for thousands of concurrent viewers globally.

Any disruption, technical, visual or audio, would have been immediately visible to a worldwide audience.

Rather than relying on a single platform to handle every production requirement, CTS engineered a layered virtual production framework designed specifically for the event.

Working within OneSchool Global’s Zoom environment, CTS created a unified broadcast workflow that integrated multiple live and pre-recorded feeds into a seamless production experience.

This approach enabled:

• Dynamic live switching between presenters and content
• Real-time production management and monitoring
• Consistent audio-visual standards across contributors
• Smooth transitions throughout the broadcast
• Centralised production control despite distributed participation

To minimise technical variability between presenters joining from different locations and devices, CTS also implemented structured onboarding and rehearsal processes ahead of the live event.

During the broadcast, CTS managed all production elements in real time, including feed management, switching, monitoring and issue response.

To support the scale of the audience, CTS implemented a robust streaming architecture with built-in redundancy and failover capability, ensuring the event remained stable and accessible across all regions.

The 2025 Perfect Pitch event was delivered as a smooth, high-quality global broadcast that successfully connected OneSchool Global’s international community in real time.

Student presentations, judge interactions and supporting content were integrated seamlessly throughout the production, creating an engaging and professional viewing experience for audiences worldwide.

The success of the event was recognised internationally, with OneSchool Global awarded:

• Virtual Event of the Year at the 2026 Ragan Video, Visual & Virtual Awards
• Honourable Mention in the 2026 Ragan Employee Communications Awards
• Finalist in the 2025 Australian Event Awards & Symposium

Beyond the technical achievement, the event demonstrated how well-designed virtual experiences can create genuine connection and engagement across global audiences.

How do you deliver a broadcast-quality virtual event across 20 countries and 10 time zones without compromising reliability, security or audience experience?
